MISSIONS

Children who participate in We Love Acting Up LLC Performance Classes and Summer Camp get to participate in Missions Projects.

We base the missions on Acts 1:8

"But you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea

and Samaria and to the end of the earth." (NKJV)

We strive to minister to people locally, and abroad.

Listed below are more details as to how

God has allowed us to bless others.

The Actors have the opportunity to perform for audience other than family and friends.

We invite audiences to come to our performances for free,

in hopes to encourage and minister to them.

SUMMER CAMP 2009

This summer we chose to bring in items for Nicaragua. These items will go directly to Carmen Heffner, a missionary supported by First Baptist Church of Matthews. Some items include, Flip Flops, Bags, Hair Accessories, School Supplies, Hats, Baseball Caps, and Small toys.

The campers also raised enough money to purchase 4 Evangelballs. . http://www.evangecube.co.za/E_Ball.htm

APRIL 2009

The Bible Celebrities and Shining Stars classes collected supplies to be placed in Easter Baskets for a senior center in Charlotte, NC. We filled 20 Easter Baskets,for 18 women and 2 men. .

During class time, the students made cards, and bookmarks to place in the baskets, filled with scriptures

We Performed a couple of the songs from our Spring Musical while delivering the Easter Baskets to the seniors at Merrywood Assisted Living, in Charlotte, NC,

We performed for a group of afterschool children who attend, the Christ Our Shepherd Afterschool program, a ministry to single moms.

April 2009

SUMMER CAMP 2008

In August of 2008, the Shining Stars Group performed for the Attention Home, in Rock Hill, SC. FBC Matthews, donated school supplies for 20 students.

All Campers brought in mac- n- cheese, jell-o, pudding, kool-aid and other dried goods to be sent to Rift Valley, a boarding school for missionary kids, in Kenya.
